We are recruiting as the Preferred Healthcare Agency for Allied Professionals within the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust for an Occupational Therapist to join the Adult Learning Disability team in the Belfast Trust, commencing August 2026 until end of March 2027. The base will be Knockbracken Healthcare Park. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with a pay rate of £24.45 per hour, weekend & overtime rates available as required.
What We Need From You:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or recognised diploma (WFOT approved)
- Registered with the HCPC
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
- At least 2 years working with people with learning disabilities (adults or children)
- Relevant postgraduate training (e.g., postural management, sensory integration, housing)
- Knowledge of OT assessment tools for adult learning disability
- Experience supervising staff
