We are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work within the Northern Health & Social Care Trust in the Neurology Unit based in Causeway Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, helping to facilitate safe and effective patient discharges from hospital.
The successful candidate will work within the hospital discharge team, assessing patients' functional abilities, supporting discharge planning, and liaising with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe transitions from hospital to community settings.
Position Details:
- Location: Causeway Hospital
- Pay Rate: £24.45 per hour
- Enhanced Rates: Weekend and overtime rates available as required
- Contract: Temporary ongoing position (minimum 6 months) with potential for extension
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (Part-time hours may be considered)
What We Need From You:
- BSc (Hons) Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
- Full, valid driving licence with access to a car
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced Access NI check
