A Contact Worker is required to join our Family Support Team based in Newtownards. In this role, you will support qualified Social Workers within the Family and Child services team, assisting with the assessment and support of clients, including families and young children facing challenging circumstances. This position is ideal for someone who is currently studying social work or with a strong interest in pursuing a career in Social Work.

Successful candidates must be NISCC registered and have a full driving licence valid for the UK with business insurance, and access to a car, as travel is essential. This is a temporary role with an immediate start, initially for 3 months with the possibility of extension. The working hours are Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm, with a rate of pay of £14.06 per hour.

What We Will Need From You:

  • Previous experience working in a school, childcare setting or care assistant for a minimum of 6 months with a Level 3 qualification
  • To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
  • Undergo an Access NI check
