We are currently recruiting a Plumber to work with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, based in Newtownabbey.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
Pay rate: Β£14.35 per hour
This position is offered on an initial 3-month temporary basis, with the opportunity for extension subject to performance and service requirements.
Role OverviewThe successful candidate will work as part of the Housing Executive maintenance team, travelling to properties to carry out essential plumbing repairs and maintenance. The role requires a professional, customer-focused approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, repair and replace plumbing systems within Housing Executive properties.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and properties are left safe and tidy.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, other trades and contractors on site.
- Provide support and guidance to apprentices where required.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support service delivery.
- Minimum 2 years post apprenticeship plumbing experience
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements
- Willing to undergo Access NI
- Full UK, Clean Driving Licence
- Weekly pay
