Financial accountant required for an immediate start working for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service based at Knockbracken Healthcare Park. The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with a pay rate of £24.45 per hour. This is a temporary position initially for 6 months.
Main Duties:
- Preparing accurate and timely month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations (e.g. control and suspense accounts)
- Assist with closure of accounts and production of working papers for audit
- Assist the Head Accountant with the preparation and delivery of the annual accounts for the Trust (to include the preparation of individual notes within revenue, charitable funds and patient funds accounts)
- Ensure that all tasks and functions within the department are maintained on an ongoing basis throughout the financial year, thus facilitating the completion of the annual accounts and various returns
What We Need From You:
- Recognised CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent
- 2 years post qualification experience in a managerial position
- Hold a full driving licence valid for use in the UK
