The predicted salary is between 12 - 22 £ per hour.
We are currently recruiting for X2 Catering Assistants to work within the Southern Health and Social Care Trust at their Daisy Hill Hospital Site. This role is 37.5 hours per week and will be worked on a rota basis, applicants must be fully flexible between Monday and Sunday. This is a temporary role for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate must have strong communication and customer service skills, as well as having experience in maintaining stock levels and ensuring all food safety and hygiene standards are met.
The main duties of the role will be:
- Serving food to staff/service users
- Delivering food to wards
- Keeping food areas clean and sanitised
- Washing up, clearing, and resetting kitchen and dining areas after service
- Washing dishes, pots, and pans
- Cleaning and sanitising work surfaces and kitchen equipment
- Carrying out stock rotation
- Disposing of food waste appropriately
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times
Pay Rates:
- Monday-Friday: £12.51 per hour
- Saturday: £17.64 per hour
- Sunday: £22.90 per hour
What We Need From You:
- Willingness to complete enhanced Access NI Check
- Willing to be available over seasonal holidays
- Must be willing to complete 1 day training (Training Held Every Wednesday)
