Machine Operator – CNC Machinery
Ballymena
£13.50 per hour
Mon–Thurs 8am–4pm, Fri 6am–2pm
First Choice Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a privately owned business manufacturing high-quality kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom furniture. With over 30 years’ experience supplying both contract and retail markets, our client is looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machinery on a fully automated edge banding production line
- Conduct inspections and quality checks
- Select and run pre-optimised programmes for various board types
- Work with multiple thicknesses of edge tape
- Ensure machine performance and efficiency
- Load and offload CNC machinery
- Cut MFC and MDF products to specification
- Clean, inspect, and record finished product quality
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ CNC machine experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and understand instructions, job sheets, blueprints, drawings, and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
