Kitchen Assistant Required in the Foyle Area. First Choice are currently recruiting a Kitchen Assistant for work in a nursing home in the Foyle area. This is a temporary, ongoing assignment to cover annual leave and sickness for approximately one month, with the potential to run longer depending on the needs of the setting.
Location: Foyle Area
Rota: Monday to Sunday
Hours: 8:00am to 7:00pm
Shifts: 23 shifts per week
Rate of Pay:
- Monday to Friday: £13 per hour
- Saturday: £14 per hour
- Sunday: £15 per hour
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
- Washing dishes and kitchen utensils
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and work surfaces
- Assisting with the storage and rotation of food supplies
- Adhering to food hygiene and health and safety procedures
- Carrying out all other associated kitchen duties

- Willingness to complete enhanced AccessNI Check
- Willing to be available over seasonal holidays
- Must be willing to complete 1 day training (Training Held Every Wednesday)
- Access to your own transport is preferable
