We are currently recruiting Care Assistants for a private Nursing Home located in Foyle, providing high-quality care for vulnerable patients in a supportive and respectful environment. This setting supports individuals from young adults through to elderly residents. This care home includes 60 rooms with a maximum of 55 service users.

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of service users by providing person-centered care to individuals with:

  • Dementia
  • Nursing needs
  • Physical disabilities
  • Visual/Hearing impairment
  • Younger adults
  • Mental health conditions

Your duties will include assisting with personal care, mobility support, and daily living activities, as well as enriching the lives of residents through the delivery of activities and offering emotional reassurance and companionship.

With weekly ongoing requirements, we can offer shifts to suit your preference, including full-time, part-time, and ad hoc work across various homes. Pay rates range from £13.50 to £17.50 per hour, depending on the shift worked. Day and night duty shifts are available, including both floor-based and 1-to-1 support roles.

What We Need From You:

  • 3 months experience in a Healthcare Setting
  • To be Niscc registered, or willing to apply
  • To have, or be willing to attend all mandatory training courses
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access Ni check
