We are currently recruiting Contact Workers / Social Work Assistants for a range of NHS Social Work teams across the Northern Trust area, including: Ballymena, Antrim, Magherafelt, Newtownabbey, Ballymoney, and Coleraine. Additional locations may also become available.
These are temporary ongoing positions with immediate starts available and a minimum expected duration of 3 months. As a contracted supplier to the NHS, we can offer flexible placements based on your preferred office location.
Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm preferred
- Part-time hours may also be available
- £14.06 per hour plus overtime rates
- Weekly mileage allowance paid
About the Role
Working alongside Qualified Social Workers, successful candidates will support a variety of service users depending on the team placement, including:
- Children and families
- Older people
- Mental health services
- Young people and vulnerable adults
These roles are ideal for individuals currently studying Social Work or those looking to gain valuable experience within the sector.
Essential Criteria
- A minimum of 6 months experience in a care-related setting such as: Schools, Childcare, Youth work, Care assistant/support work
- A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a care-related subject
- NISCC registration
- A full UK driving licence with access to a car and business insurance
- Travel is essential for these positions
- An Enhanced Access NI check will be completed before employment commences
