First Choice are currently recruiting for a Domestic/Catering assistant to work within the BHSCT, at their Brae Valley Residential Care Home in Belfast. This is a part time temporary role, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, starting at 4pm and finishing at 9pm every shift. This post is initially required for 3 months, with the possibility of extension.
The pay rates for this role are:
- Monday - Friday 4pm - 8pm: £12.71
- Monday - Friday 8pm - 9pm: £17.92
- Saturday: £17.92
- Sunday: £23.26
The main duties of this role will be to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, including communal areas, kitchens and dining areas, carry out routine cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces and disposing of waste safely, assist with the preparation and serving of meals and refreshments in accordance with food hygiene and safety standards and set up and clear dining areas before and after meals, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.

- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI check.
