Accounting Technician required to work with our client the NI Fire & Rescue Service. This role will be based at their head office in Lisburn and the successful candidate will be working as part of the Finance & Corporate Services team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the financial operations of one of Northern Ireland's most essential public services.
The working hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, 36.25 hours per week with a pay rate of £19.72 per hour. This role is for a minimum of 6 months with a strong possibility of an extension.
As an Accounting Technician, you will support the Finance function by:
- Preparing and processing financial transactions and journals
- Assisting in budget monitoring and financial reporting
- Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting audit processes and year-end procedures
- Ensuring compliance with public sector financial policies and procedures
What We Need From You:
- 5 GCSE's grades A* - C including Math and English
- 2 Years experience working in a Finance environment
- Working with a computerised package
