Cook urgently needed at Lisgarel Residential Unit to provide immediate cover and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals. The successful candidate will prepare meals for 16 residential residents and approximately 40 Day Centre service users daily, Monday to Friday. This role requires someone reliable, experienced in a similar cooking environment, and able to start immediately.
Location: Lisgarel Residential Unit
Hours: 30 - 37.5 hours per week
Duration: Approx. 3 months
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare balanced, home-style meals in line with dietary requirements
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Manage food stock, ordering, and storage
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety and food safety regulations
- Work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
