We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join a day centre setting in the Antrim area. This is a temporary position for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 2:30pm. We offer a competitive pay rate of £12.71 per hour from Monday to Friday, £17.64 per hour on Saturdays, and £22.90 per hour on Sundays.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient food preparation environment for patients, staff, and visitors, with key responsibilities including:
- Assisting with basic food preparation
- Serving meals and beverages
- Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and food service areas
- Following food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Assisting with stock rotation and storage of food supplies

- Previous experience working in a similar environment.
- Willingness to undergo an Access NI police check.
