Contact Workers / Social Work Assistants required for various NHS Social work teams with positions available based in Ballymena, Antrim, Newtownabbey, Larne / Carrick, Ballymoney. Other locations may become available around the Northern Trust Areas.

We are currently recruiting for ongoing positions that are flexible for each candidate's preference of office location. As a contracted supplier for the NHS, these positions are all temporary ongoing (minimum of 3 months) with immediate starts available.

Hours of work are preferred to be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, but part-time hours may also be available if required with a pay rate of £14.06 per hour & overtime rates.

Contact Workers / Social Work Assistants will be working alongside Qualified Social Workers and depending on the selected field you will contribute to the assessment and support of clients such as young children, older people, mental health, and/or families.

These roles are suitable for those currently studying social work or have an interest in social work. It is also preferred that candidates have previous experience to apply such as working in a school, childcare setting, youth work, or care assistant for a minimum of 6 months with a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a care-related subject.

Successful candidates must be NISCC registered and have a full driving licence valid for the UK with business insurance, and access to a car, as travel is essential. Mileage allowance payment provided weekly. Enhanced Access NI Check will be completed prior to start date.
