We are currently recruiting for ONE part-time Domestic Assistant to join the team at Mid-Ulster Hospital. This temporary role is for an initial period of 3 months, with the possibility of extension. The position offers part-time hours working Monday to Sunday on either an 8:00am-1:00pm shift or a 4:00pm-8:00pm shift.
Pay rates:
- £12.71 per hour Monday to Friday
- £17.92 per hour on Saturdays
- £23.26 per hour on Sundays
Main duties will include:
- Cleaning wards, corridors, and communal hospital areas to maintain high hygiene standards
- Wiping down and sanitising surfaces, furniture, and high-touch areas
- Cleaning and disinfecting toilets, restrooms, and washroom facilities, including replenishing soap and paper supplies
- Emptying bins and safely disposing of general and clinical waste in line with hospital policies
- Restocking cleaning materials and reporting shortages or maintenance issues
- Assisting with additional domestic duties as required
What We Need From You
- Previous cleaning experience
- Willingness to complete enhanced AccessNI Check
- Must be able to complete 1 day of online training (Training held every Wednesday)
