We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Campsie. This is a temporary to permanent position, with an initial 16-week temporary period and the opportunity to secure a permanent role thereafter.

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate Class 1 vehicles for the transportation of goods to and from designated locations
  • Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed on time and in line with company schedules
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures
  • Secure loads safely and ensure compliance with all transport and safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, logs, and records
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers
  • Adhere to all tachograph and driver hours regulations
  • Support loading and unloading where required

What We Need From You:

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
  • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous HGV driving experience, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks and transport regulations
  • Strong reliability and time management skills
  • Flexibility to support operational needs when required
