First Choice are recruiting for a Financial Assessments Officer to work with our public sector client based in the Finance, Procurement & Estates department based in Newry. This is a Full-Time temporary position, initially till the end of October and the working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The pay rate is £12.75 per hour.
What The Job Entails:
- Assist in the preparation of financial assessments, raising invoices and recovery of income due to the Trust
- Monitor and manage payment schedules
- Provide financial support in relation to income, invoices, payments and payroll
- Receive, receipt and record remittances made to the Trust including cash, cheques, electronic transfers etc
- General finance administration duties
- Producing monthly reminder letters/statements and Aged Debt report
What We Need From You:
- 4 GCSEs grade C or above to include English and Maths plus 1 year administration experience
- Experience in the using Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Excel
- Hold a current full driving licence which is valid for use in the UK and have access to a car on appointment.
