We are currently recruiting for a Labourer for our client, the Northern Ireland Housing Executive. These roles are based in Coleraine and offer an excellent opportunity for experienced individuals looking for stable, ongoing work. These positions are temporary for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, with a pay rate of £13.05 to £13.47 per hour, depending on experience.
The successful candidates will be responsible for undertaking general labouring duties supporting the maintenance and refurbishment of Housing Executive properties and buildings, including but not limited to:
- Domestic waste removal from buildings, roof spaces, and external areas
- Minor painting and basic maintenance tasks
- Cleaning and clearing rubbish from domestic properties and communal areas
- Cleaning stairwells and communal spaces
- Carrying out power washing duties
- Manual handling of heavy and bulky items
- Collection and delivery of materials to site
What We Need From You
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar labouring or construction support role
- A full, current driving licence
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow site instructions
- Good physical fitness due to manual handling requirements
