Support Worker required to work alongside our client, the Northern Trust, at Hawthorns Adult Centre in Carrickfergus. This position is available for an immediate start, initially for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 3:30pm, with a pay rate of £12.75 per hour.
As a Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team providing care and support to adults with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, and learning disabilities. This is a highly interactive and rewarding role where you will:
- Support service users in their daily activities within the centre
- Assist with social and recreational programmes
- Supervise and support outings
- Help promote independence, dignity, and overall wellbeing
What We Need From You:
- Experience in a Healthcare setting (preferable with Learning Disabilities)
- To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI check
