Bus Driver required to work with our client the SEHSCT. This role is on a temporary basis, initially for 4 months with the possibility of an extension. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours a week, working Monday to Friday 8am until 4:30pm. The rate of pay is £12.75 per hour. The bus will be collected and returned daily to the Trust's Hub at Ards Community Hospital.
The main duties for this role include:
- Transporting service users and staff for social and educational outings
- Assisting service users into and out of vehicles
- Providing assistance to those in wheelchairs or walking aids
- Securing clients when in transit
- Participating in group activities
The Driver will be accompanied by Healthcare staff.
What We Need From You:
- 6 months previous experience in a similar role
- Hold a Full Category D Driving Licence with no restrictions
- Hold a current Drivers Qualification Card
- Experience using passenger tail lifts, ramps and ancillary equipment
- Willing to undergo an Access NI
