On behalf of our client Belfast City Council, we are recruiting 12 Recycling Outreach Officers. These roles will start on the 20th of July for a minimum of 3 months working 06.30 - 14.30 Monday to Friday with a pay rate of £15.82 per hour.

The main base for this role will be Duncrue industrial estate, Belfast; however, the successful applicants will be required to drive to various locations across Belfast, therefore a full clean driving licence and access to transport is essential.

Duties will include:

  • Deliver information about new recycling schemes to households and businesses.
  • Answer questions from residents about the council's waste and recycling strategy.
  • Undertake recycling surveys from households.
  • Carry out street observation surveys and record data.
  • Data collection and recording of information on hand-held devices.
  • Pass customer queries through the hub and complete feedback reports.

What We Need From You:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • UK Driving Licence and access to a car.
  • Computer literate.
