First Choice are currently recruiting 2 Hospital Porters to work with their client, the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust. This role will be based at the Ulster Hospital, Dundonald. This is a full-time, temporary role, working Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30, initially required for 3 months with the possibility of extension. Pay Rate is £12.71 per hour.

The main duties of this role will include:

  • Patient transfer across wards or for tests in different departments
  • Removal of remains to the morgue
  • Collection and delivery of records and mail
  • Transfer of equipment between departments
  • General housekeeping - removal and transfer of waste and linen

This role requires the candidate to have excellent people skills and ideally experience in the movement of goods. Successful candidates must attend training and be willing to complete an Access NI Check.

  • 1 year previous experience as a porter or working in warehousing or removals
