The predicted salary is between 31000 - 32000 £ per year.

Pest Officer urgently required to work with the Belfast City Council, based in Dargan Crescent. Initially the role will be on a temporary basis for 3 months with the possibility of an extension based on job performance. This is a full time position, working Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm with an hourly rate of £15.82.

The main duties include:

  • Provide pest control services, including treatment of rodents, insects and other pests
  • Carry out disinfection, disinfestation, sewer and drain testing and treatment
  • Lay baits and poisons in accordance with safety standards
  • Maintain records and prepare reports as required
  • Work in accordance with council policies, health and safety requirements and relevant legislation

What We Need From You:

  • Must have full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • 1 years experience in pest control operations
  • 1 years experience dealing with health and safety risks and with members of the public
  • Level 2 Award in Pest Management or an equivalent
