We are currently recruiting a Housekeeper with Cooking Duties to work in a looked after children's home in East Belfast. This is a temporary role expected to last at least 3 months, with the possibility of extension. Hours of work are 9am to 5pm or 9am to 4pm, 5 days out of 7. Rates of pay will be £12.31 per hour Monday to Friday, £16.62 on a Saturday and £20.80 on Sunday.
Main Duties
- Preparing fresh, nutritious meals for 4 children
- Cleaning general areas including lounges, activity rooms and dining areas
- Cleaning kitchen surfaces, tables and dining areas after use
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
- Restocking cleaning supplies, paper towels, soap and PPE
Requirements
- Experience in a housekeeping or domestic role
- Experience preparing meals (professional or domestic)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A caring and responsible approach when working in a children's environment
