ONE Driver is required for our client, a well-established removals and storage company based in Antrim. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Loading and unloading furniture and household goods
- Packing, securing, and protecting items for transportation
- Assisting with both residential and commercial removals
- Completing deliveries to customer premises and storage facilities
- Delivering a polite and professional level of customer service at all times
- Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues as necessary
- Completing daily vehicle inspections
- Undertaking basic vehicle maintenance tasks
- Accurately completing delivery paperwork and documentation in line with company procedures
Previous experience in removals, furniture handling, or heavy delivery work is essential. This is a permanent position, subject to a six-month probationary period, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The role is paid starting at £12.71 per hour, with the potential for a higher rate depending on experience. Any overtime is paid at time and a quarter.
