We are currently recruiting Children's Residential Support Workers in the Ballymena area to support children with disabilities and complex behavioural needs within a residential setting. These roles are available for immediate start, with full-time hours (37.5 per week) preferred, though part-time applications will also be considered. Shift patterns operate on a 7-day rota and include:
- Early shifts
- Late shifts
- Waking night shifts
- Sleepovers
Pay rates range from £14.06 to £25.41 per hour, depending on the shift worked, with an additional £60.00 sleepover rate.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting children or adults with learning disabilities and/or behaviours that challenge
- NISCC registration, or willingness to apply
- A full UK driving licence, including business insurance
- CPI (Safety Intervention) training
If you do not currently hold CPI/Safety Intervention training, First Choice can provide a 2-day training course, with the next course available in June 2026. Candidates who are already trained will be required to provide evidence prior to commencing work.
