Overview

Assembler – Ballymena

£12.50 – £14.00 per hour (depending on experience). Day Shift: Mon–Thurs 7am–4pm, Fri 6am–2pm

First Choice Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a privately owned business manufacturing high-quality kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom furniture. With over 30 years’ experience in the contract and retail markets, our client is seeking skilled Assemblers to join their growing production team.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom units
• Packing fittings and components for units
• Assisting in other areas of the department as required
• Supporting general operations as directed by your Team Leader
• Packing flat pack and rigid units, labelling finished products
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures

Essential Criteria

• Similar experience building or constructing furniture units
• Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing environment
• Practical skills using hand and machine tools
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
