Support Workers required to work in a small Supported Living facility located in Ballymena, for our client Praxis Healthcare. We are currently recruiting for 2 Adult Disability support workers to work alongside an adult service user with learning disabilities to encourage independence, attend appointments, plan activities, attend day trips, help with meal preparation, house duties and to be part of creating a person-centred plan.
The roles requirements are:
- Long Days, Full time Hours of 3 Days per week (8am - 8pm)
- Night Duty, Part time Hours of 2 Nights per week (8pm - 8am)
- Sleepover Shifts
These positions are to commence as soon as possible, after pre-employment checks have been completed. Pay rate is £13.00 - £17.00, depending on the shift you have worked. Sleepover Rate: £65.00.
Our client would prefer candidates to have completed Safety Intervention Training prior to starting, although, if not we are holding a 2-day course at the end of March 2025!
What We Need From You:
- 3 months experience in a Healthcare Setting (preferably with Learning Disabilities)
- To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
- An ability to work evenings and weekend shifts
