We are currently recruiting for a Driver with Caring Duties on behalf of the team at Holywell Hospital. This is a temporary position for an initial period of 3 months, with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport clients/patients to and from Trust Adult and Day Care facilities
- Carry out routine vehicle maintenance checks and ensure roadworthiness
- Operate vehicle tail lifts where required
- Accurately complete journey logs and vehicle usage records
- Safely secure wheelchair users using approved restraints
- Deliver and collect food supplies, furniture, and other items as directed
- Provide general support and assistance to clients/patients based on individual needs
- Administer basic first aid where necessary
- Assist staff and clients during day trips, outings, and facility activities under supervision
What We Need From You:
- Category D License is required with no restrictions.
- CPC Card valid for at least 2 years.
- Willingness to complete Enhanced Access NI.
