We are recruiting two experienced Senior Care Assistants to join the team at Trinity House Care Home, Garvagh, Coleraine, a well-established care home providing nursing and dementia care. These are temporary ongoing positions (minimum of 3 months), with a strong opportunity to become permanent for the right candidates. This role offers 37.5 hours per week on a Monday to Sunday rota, competitive pay rates of £15.50 - £20.00 per hour depending on shift worked, refresher medication training if required, and excellent long-term career prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with personal care and daily living activities.
- Supporting nurses with medication rounds.
- Supervising care staff and providing leadership on shift.
- Updating and implementing care plans.
- Promoting high standards of person-centred care.
What We Need From You:
- Previous Senior Care Assistant experience, including personal care experience.
- Medication Trained prior to starting.
- Flexible to work days and nights on a rota basis.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
