We are recruiting for a Residential Social Care Support Worker needed to work in a Children's Home located in Coleraine. This team utilises skilled and qualified support workers dedicated to supporting children and young adults within a residential home with severe learning disabilities that challenge. Candidates applying must be capable of handling complex issues and be able to maintain strong relationships.
As this position is through the Northern Trust, we can offer these roles as temporary ongoing (minimum 3 months). Hours of work are on a rota basis of sleepover shifts, with weekends on rotation. Hourly rate is: £14.06 - £22.49, depending on shift worked. Enhanced Access NI Check will be completed prior to start date.
What We Need From You:
- 2 Years direct and recent experience of engaging with young people with a learning disability or behaviours that challenge
- NISCC registered, or willing to apply
- Full UK Driving Licence valid for the UK, with business insurance and access to a car
- CPI Safety Intervention Trained, proof to be provided or Training can be supplied by First Choice prior to start date
