First Choice are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temporary Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of the Equip Programme, a major transformation project across Health and Social Care Northern Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile programme implementing a modern cloud-based HR and Finance system across the HSC.
Offering an immediate start, this role pays £19.78 per hour, working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and is expected to run until March 2027, with the possibility of extension. Working closely with the Project Manager and key stakeholders, you will support project delivery, coordinate activities, manage risks, and help drive successful programme outcomes. Following an initial training period, hybrid working will be available, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced project professional looking to contribute to a large-scale transformation programme.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting project delivery and implementation activities
- Monitoring project plans, risks and issues
- Producing reports and project documentation
- Engaging with stakeholders across the organisation
What We Need From You:
- A degree, HND, or relevant work experience in project support or project management.
- Previous experience supporting or coordinating projects
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Full UK driving licence and access to transport suitable for the role
