A leading national glass company is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join their distribution team. This role involves the safe and efficient delivery of bulk glass products on stillages to customers across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport bulk glass securely using stillages
- Carry out deliveries to customer sites in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all loads are safely secured and handled with care
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Comply with all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of load security, particularly for glass or similar materials
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
