HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) – North Shields An established insulation company based in North Shields is currently recruiting a reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver for regular weekday trunking work. The Role * Driving a curtainsider trailer delivering insulation products such as insulation boards and bags of rockwool * Regular runs to Rochdale, Rotherham, Manchester and Liverpool on various days * Delivering to company depots and assisting with handballing at delivery points * Monday to Friday work only – no weekends involved Hours of Work * Start time: 7:30am * Typical finish: 5:30pm * Generally consistent day shifts Pay Rates * £17.00 per hour for the first 8 hours worked * £25.50 per hour for any hours worked over the initial 8 hours * Holiday pay accrued weekly, paid separately and not included in the hourly rate Requirements * Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence * CPC qualification * Digital Tachograph (Digicard) * Minimum 12 months HGV1 experience (required for insurance purposes) * Physically fit and willing to assist with unloading * Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Important Information * This role is agency work and will not be suitable for drivers currently in permanent employment What’s on Offer * Competitive weekday pay rates * No weekend work * Regular routes and working hours * Friendly working environment If you meet the above criteria and are looking for well-paid, weekday-only Class 1 agency work, we’d be pleased to hear from you
