HGV2 Delivery Driver

HGV2 Driver – Gateshead – £14.00 per hour + Overtime 🚚\\n\\nNational timber merchant are looking for an experienced HGV2 Driver to join a busy and friendly timber merchant based in Gateshead.\\n\\nHours & Pay:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Monday to Friday – 7:00am start, finish around 4:30pm\\n\\n * \\n\\n £14.00 per hour basic\\n\\n * \\n\\n Overtime after 8 hours at £21.00 per hour\\n\\n * \\n\\n Holiday pay accrued weekly (paid separately)\\n\\n * \\n\\n Guaranteed 8 hours per day\\n\\nThe Role:\\nAs a HGV2 Driver, you’ll be delivering timber products to construction sites across the North East. You can expect up to 8 drops per day (sometimes 2 drops to the same site). Loads will need strapping down securely, and while many are forklifted off, you’ll need to assist with offloading when required.\\n\\nWhat We’re Looking For:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Valid HGV2 Licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience securing loads with straps\\n\\n * \\n\\n Ability to work safely and professionally on busy sites\\n\\n * \\n\\n Access to a PC or laptop to complete digital application packs (emailed to you)\\n\\nPlease note: While this is regular work, it’s not suitable for HGV2 Drivers already in permanent employment, due to the role being agency work.\\n\\nIf you’re a reliable HGV2 Driver looking for a steady Monday–Friday role with great overtime rates, we’d love to hear from you.\\n\\nApplicants should have a valid HGV2 Licence, CPC and Digicard, with no more than 6 points and NO DR/DD offences
