A well-established national plumbing and heating company based in Darlington is currently seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join their team.
Role Overview: You will be responsible for driving a Class 2 (HGV2) wagon equipped with a tail lift, delivering plumbing and heating supplies to construction sites within approximately a 2-hour radius of Darlington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily deliveries to construction sites
- Complete between 10–20 drops per day, depending on route
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods
- Use a pump truck for unloading where required
- Undertake some manual handling (handballing) as part of deliveries
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points on licence (no DR/DD offences)
- Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety
- Ability to manage a physically demanding role
- Strong work ethic and reliability
