A leading national plumbing and heating supplier is currently seeking an experienced 7.5t Delivery Driver to join their team in Sunderland. This is an agency position which could lead to a permanent role, delivering plumbing and heating supplies to other wholesalers, residential addresses, and new build sites within the local area.
Position Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Type: Agency work – not suitable for candidates currently in permanent employment
- Pay: £13.18 per hour + Overtime & Holiday Pay
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ experience driving a 7.5t vehicle
- Maximum 6 points on licence (no DR or DD offences)
- Valid 7.5t Licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph
- Experience with tail lifts and using a PDA/handheld scanner
- Ability to complete registration forms via tablet, PC, laptop, or mobile (documents will be emailed and need to be scanned and returned)
Duties
- Safely operate a 7.5t vehicle to deliver plumbing and heating supplies
- Deliver to wholesalers, residential addresses, and new build sites within Sunderland
- Offload goods using the tail lift
- Record deliveries using a PDA/handheld scanner
