Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected and reputable manufacturing company in Winchcombe for a Yard Operator / Forklift Driver. This is a temp to perm requirement to work on 3 rotational shift patterns (week 1 6am – 2pm, week 2 10am – 6pm, week 3 8am – 4pm). This role includes some weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload vehicle deliveries, check for defects, and move stock (outdoors in all weathers).
- Complete FLT safety checks.
- Maintain good housekeeping ensuring the yard is free from waste and debris.
- Ensure records are kept up to date.
- Maintain accurate stock control.
Qualifications
- Current FLT license or be able to take a company refresher to update if the licence is expired.
- Due to the rural location of the site, own transport is essential.
- Full PPE provided except for safety footwear, which you will need to provide.
- Site is strictly non-smoking throughout.
Details
Salary based on a 40-hour week: £28,808 per annum.
Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays (8).
