Our Tewkesbury client is a leading provider of advanced digital security solutions. They have an urgent requirement for a Supply Chain Administrator for an ongoing assignment (at least one month). The ideal candidate will have good administration experience and excellent IT skills; SAGE is an advantage.
37.5 hours, flexible. Excellent working conditions and canteen/break out room on site. Parking on site. £14.28 per hour plus.
Key duties:- Procurement Activities:
- Ordering goods in a timely manner
- Collaborate with accounts department to resolve queries and ensure costs are allocated correctly
- Support Office Manager in maintaining office supplies
- Build relationships across the wider business to ensure smooth running of the supply chain and business operations.
- Receive and manage goods in deliveries - delivery to various on-site locations
- Central point of contact for all deliveries into the business
- Checking off and receipting order onto Jira and Sage
- Maintain accurate account of all goods received for audit purposes
- Reporting non-arrivals to procurement
- Ensuring goods-in paperwork is filed correctly
- Experience:
- Experience working with Sage/Jira highly advantageous but not essential
- Experience of working within a procurement or supply chain department/function
- Numerate and IT literate with good knowledge of MS Word and strong Excel skills
- Highly effective planning, coordination and time management
- Must be able to prioritise own workload and adapt to changing work priorities
- Highly efficient with an organised approach to work
- An ability to work under pressure whilst displaying sound judgement
- A strong team player with excellent customer service skills
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- A flexible approach and a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to change
