Physiotherapist / Musculoskeletal Specialist Salary £30/35k doe. Hybrid/Remote Our client is an award-winning company who have been delivering successful occupational health case management solutions to major employers across the UK for over 25 years. Due to continued growth they are now looking for a Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist to join the MSK Clinical Team. Duties will be varied but include responding to MSK related calls to offer support and guided self-help, work closely with other teams offering support to cases, work on Functional Restoration cases and support the NHS clinic in Worcester and Bromsgrove. This interesting role can be either office based or hybrid (remote possible) as the role predominately is telephone or video triage offering practical advice and guidance across all areas of health and wellbeing. Purpose of the Role: 1. Use skill set combined with evidence and data to identify areas of MSK development across all business service channels. 2. To work closely with other teams to deliver clinical scrutiny for MSK intervention 3. To deliver MSK induction training to new starters and 1:1 for team members 4. To deliver appropriate MSK calls including (but not limited to); guided self-help, aches and pains, medical solutions. 5. To monitor incoming referrals through MSK dashboards 6. To hold a caseload within Functional Restoration Service (NHS), deliver 1:1 and group sessions from locations within Worcestershire. 7. To maintain knowledge of the Functional Restoration Program (NHS) and work with the MSK team to develop the service and identify areas of improvement. 8. Attend regular MSK team huddles and contribute to service development discussions 9. Attend monthly check ins with Team Leader 10. To work within the standards of conduct, performance and ethics of the appropriate professional body e.g. HCPC. 11. To develop and sustain relationships with both internal and external customers. Knowledge required: 1. Knowledge of general functional health and ethics. This includes but not limited to knowledge of anatomy and physiology, corrective exercise, nutrition, strength and conditioning, Weight management, program design, behaviour change, medical confidentiality 1. Knowledge and understanding of how to effectively manage a broad range of physical, functional, biological and psychological issues and procedures. Minimum Requirement; * Degree in Physiotherapy or Sports Therapy (or Equivalent professional certification) * Membership of the appropriate governing body (or ability to obtain this) * Needs to evidence ability to write clear and accurate English * Ability to understand the impact of work on an individual and the impact of ill health and an individual’s ability to work.
