We are working with a local Tewkesbury business who are leading manufacturers and distributors of industrial, electrical products. This new role within technical sales is a great opportunity to work within an existing office based team answering calls from customers, dealing with technical queries, providing advice and information to customers. Product and system training will be provided but applicants must be good communicators, IT literate and be technically savvy. This varied role offers great training and the opportunity to develop within the business.
Reporting to the Managing Director and Projects Manager, the main duties of the role and skills required are:
- Excellent communication skills by phone and email.
- Good customer service skills and well organised.
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Good technical and practical skills.
- An understanding of basic CAD and Schematics.
- Produce CAD drawings using E Plus Electro Graphics (Full Training Will Be Given).
- An Electrical background is desirable.
- Work well within a team environment but able to use your own initiative.
- Provide technical support, product relevant to the internal and external Sales Team.
- Handle general product specific technical enquiries from client base.
- Assist in the Preparation of quotations, bill of materials and final pricing with the assembly department.
- Promote and advise on compatible products, services and bespoke solutions.
- Liaise with the Sales Office Manager, Projects Manager, External Sales Team and all others.
Full product and technical training will be given at the company training centre in Italy and on an ongoing basis; the ideal candidate will have experience of the Electrical Wholesale Industry and demonstrate a good technical aptitude with a willingness to learn.
