We are recruiting for an experienced sales/customer services professional to join an established and growing engineering business based in Cheltenham.
The company manufacture specialist equipment, and they have an immediate requirement for a driven and motivated administrator with exceptional customer service skills to join the team.
About the role
As our Customer Service & Sales Administrator working within our sales administration team, you will be helping to provide excellent service to customers.
Providing an efficient response to incoming customer enquiries and orders, in turn, building a rapport and credibility with our existing customers and new.
General administration tasks as follows
Key responsibilities
- Processing sales orders / quotations based on customer requests and enquiries in a timely manner
- Responding to customer inquiries providing product and / or service information
- Addressing customer complaints and providing resolutions promptly
- Maintaining detailed records of all interactions with customers
- Liaise with management on all bespoke requests sourcing prices for products and delivery from suppliers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to understand their needs to maximise sales revenue/upselling.
- Sourcing parts/raising purchase orders with suppliers.
- Submitting customer invoicing
- Follow up all open quotations generating reports for management
- Your Skills & Attributes
- Knowledge of Sage version 50 essential.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Confident working with Excel spreadsheets.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Be highly motivated and customer driven.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Hours Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 8.30am -2.00pm
- Salary up to £28K depending on experience; + bonuses; 25 days holiday + bank holidays
