Social Work Assistant required to join the Community Social Work Team in Newtownabbey. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with an hourly pay rate of £13.57. This post will initially last for 3 months with the possibility of extension.
In this role, you will primarily support Social Work Managers in delivering high-quality social work services to children and families. You will work within the Children’s Services Team, undertaking tasks delegated by the Social Work Team Manager to assist social workers in fulfilling their responsibilities.
What we need from you:
- 5 GCSE’s grade C or above OR NVQ Level 3 in a care related subject
- 1 years’ experience working in social care setting
- To be NISCC registered (or willing to apply)
- Be willing to undergo an Access NI Check
- Full clean driving licence and access to a car
