We are seeking an experienced Specialist Dietitian to work through our client within the Western Trust, Altnagelvin Hospital, providing expert dietetic input across adult inpatient wards. The post holder will act as a specialist dietitian responsible for the dietary management of patients across a variety of clinical settings, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based nutritional care.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (37.5 hours per week) and pay rate is £19.10 per hour with overtime rates available if needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide specialist dietetic assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adult inpatients
- Develop and implement individualised nutrition care plans
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical decision-making
- Deliver patient education and professional advice to staff
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with Trust policies
- Support service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Dietitian
- Evidence of relevant postgraduate training
- A minimum of 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)
