We are urgently seeking a Catering Assistant to join the team at Cookstown Day Centre. This is a minimum 6‑month placement, with a strong possibility of a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. This role involves working in a busy hospital kitchen preparing and serving home‑cooked style meals, including breakfast items, soups, stews, and other simple hot lunches. Duties will include heating, plating, and serving pre‑prepared dishes ensuring food is presented safely and to a high standard. Shifts will be between Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:30pm.
Pay Rates:
- Monday – Friday (6am–8pm): £12.71 per hour
- Monday – Friday (8pm–6am) & Saturdays: £17.92 per hour
- Sundays: £23.26 per hour
What We Need From You:
- Minimum 6 months Catering or hospitality experience
- Basic food hygiene certificate preferred (training will be provided if not already held)
- Willingness to undergo an Access NI police check.
