We are currently seeking a Band 4 Administrative Officer to join a busy lab department at Antrim Area Hospital. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, offering an immediate start at a rate of £13.57 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to the Pathology team.
- Manage correspondence, data entry, and document control accurately and efficiently.
- Handle telephone and email enquiries, ensuring excellent communication with staff, patients, and external contacts.
- Support departmental record-keeping, filing systems, and appointment coordination.
- Assist in maintaining confidentiality and compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
What We Need From You
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in an administrative role.
- Strong IT and organisational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
