Community Living Support Workers are required to work with our client, Northern Health and Social Care Trust located in Ballymena on a temporary ongoing basis to support the delivery of high-quality social work services to children and families. The post holder will carry a caseload, contributing actively to the assessment, planning, and review process alongside the wider social work team.

Candidates will work alongside the Band 4 Social Work Assistants who will play a key role in gathering information, supporting assessments, and ensuring effective service delivery. This position is well suited to individuals who enjoy a dynamic role with daily travel as an essential requirement, offering variety and the opportunity to work across different settings. This role is 37.5 hours, including day, evening and weekend work. Although, part time will also be considered!

Pay rate is £14.06 -£22.49 with weekly mileage payment. Due to the nature of the role, candidates are required to have 1 of the following:

  • Level 3 in a care-related subject with 1 Year experience working with families / children
  • Level 2 in a care-related subject with 2 Years experience working with families / children
  • 4 GCSE’s including English and Maths with 3 Years experience working with families / children

Successful candidates must be NISCC registered and have a full driving licence valid for the UK with business insurance, and access to a car, as travel is essential. Mileage allowance payment provided weekly.
