About the Role
We are looking for a Neighbourhood Coordinator to deliver high-quality tenancy and neighbourhood management services across our communities on a 12 month fixed term contract.
This is a varied role where you will work with customers, colleagues and partner agencies to resolve tenancy issues, improve neighbourhood conditions, support vulnerable residents and help create safe, clean and thriving communities.
Impact you’ll make
As Neighbourhood Coordinator, you will be a visible and proactive presence in our neighbourhoods. You will support customers with tenancy issues, help resolve concerns early, identify safeguarding risks and work with partners to deliver positive outcomes. Through estate walkabouts, case management and clear customer communication, you will help improve neighbourhood standards and customer satisfaction.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage a varied caseload of tenancy and neighbourhood issues.
- Carry out estate and neighbourhood walkabouts, identifying concerns and following actions through.
- Support customers with tenancy matters, including property condition, tenancy changes, safeguarding and domestic abuse.
- Give clear advice on tenancy rights, responsibilities and available support.
- Work with colleagues and partners to improve neighbourhood conditions and resolve local issues.
- Make referrals and follow up support to help customers sustain their tenancies.
- Support customer involvement and community engagement.
- Keep accurate records and manage cases in line with policies, procedures and GDPR.
- Take ownership of performance targets and contribute to wider service outcomes.
About you
We are looking for someone who is confident working with customers, managing a busy workload and dealing with sensitive or complex situations. You will have strong communication skills, good judgement and the ability to build trust with customers, colleagues and partner agencies. You may already have experience in housing, tenancy management, neighbourhood services, safeguarding, community support or a similar customer-focused role.

- Knowledge of housing legislation, regulations or current housing issues, or willingness to develop this.
- A clean current driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- CIH Level 3, or willingness to work towards this.
A DBS check will be required for this role.
