We are looking for a drainage engineer to deliver jetting, unblocking and emergency repairs across residential and commercial environments. First Choice Drainage Solutions is hiring Experienced Drainage Engineers to support increasing demand across London and the surrounding counties. This is a mobile, field-based role requiring a high level of technical competence in drainage maintenance, blockage clearance, and high-pressure water jetting.

Location & TravelThis is a road-based role covering London and surrounding counties. The company’s head office is located in Harlow, Essex, with occasional visits required for meetings, training, and equipment collection.
Key Responsibilities- Clear blocked drains using high-pressure water jetting equipment
- Carry out drainage maintenance and emergency call-outs
- Operate jetting units safely and efficiently
- Work in confined spaces when required
- Communicate effectively with customers and office staff
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Drainage Engineer / Drainage Technician
- Strong knowledge of drainage systems and blockage clearance
- High Pressure Water Jetting certification
- Valid CSCS Card (or ability to obtain)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Competitive salary of £35,000 – £45,000 per annum
